What grades does Peak Prep serve?
TK-12

What are the TK and Kindergarten cut off dates?
Students that turn five years old before or on September 1 qualify for Kindergarten. Students who turn five years old between September 2 and December 2 can enroll in Transitional Kindergarten anytime during our enrollment window for the school year. Students that turn five before December 2 can sign up for Transitional Kindergarten on or after their fifth birthday while our enrollment window is still open.

What is the enrollment application deadline?

What is Peak Prep’s policy on immunization?
We do not require our students to have their full set of immunizations. However, in accordance with Senate Bill 277, record of any immunizations received must be sent in with your application. An immunization waiver is also available.

How much does Peak Prep provide in instructional funds?
Up to $400 a semester. Depending on enrollment date.

Where can I find a list of Peak Prep vendors?

How are orders processed?
Parent completes a Educational Funds Request Form. The Mentor confirms and processes the request, then purchase order is given to vendor. Once vendor receives P.O., Family may begin services.

Does Peak Prep have a learning center?
School-sponsored Classes offered:
Classes taken with Vendors.

How can instructional funds be used at Peak Prep Academy?
Peak Prep Academy Charter School only allows for public funding to be used on extra-curricular/enrichment activities and tutoring.

How often do I need to meet with my Mentor?
There are weekly touchbases. Additional meetings may be held if needed.

What does Peak Prep require for work samples?
K-8: 1 sample per learning period- family choice, plus a Physical Education Log
High School: 1 sample for each class per learning period (A learning period is approximately one month long)

Do I have to submit instructional plans?
No

How long does a meeting with the teacher last?
There are no set time requirements. Meetings typically last approximately one hour because we love to connect with our families.

What options does Peak Prep offer for high school students?
We have several High School Paths that are tailored to meet the goals and needs of your student. Several online classes and Vendor classes to choose from.

What are Peak Prep’s standardized testing requirements?
Testing will be proctored by your educational coach to ensure the comfort of your student while testing.
State Testing (in spring):
SBAC (language arts and math), Students in grades 3-8 and 11
CAST (science), Students in grades 5,8,10
PFT (physical fitness test), Students in grades 5,7,9

iReady Benchmark testing is also available, but not mandatory.
